Delay with water connection

    Hi just looking for advice on mains water connection . I contacted county council and was told I need to apply to Irish water on line. I applied on line to irish water 4 months ago and despite numerous emails I am just getting back the application is with the field engineer despite them saying the average connection time is 6 to 8 weeks . Has anyone any advice or experience regarding water connection.
