Leak from Towel Rail

    Hi,
I have a leak from the top nut of my bathroom towel rail. I thought it was from the bleed nut so I loosened that to bleed the rad and tightened as much as I can. When I ran my finger around the area I felt small hole at the back of the nut (pic attached). At first I thought this must be a small burst in the metal but when I looked closely it seems like a hole that should be there but that's where the water is dripping from. Is there any DIY job that could fix it or does it need a plumber?

    Thanks

This is the bleed hole where any air in the rad escapes when you loosen the bleed screw. The bleed screw seating may be corroded. The rubber seal often corrodes as well. You can get a new bleed nut from a plumbing supplies if you feel able to replace it yourself.
