Science Olympiad

    So I'm going to the science olympiad in dcu on November 11th...I'm doing the ireuso one and I'm doing chemistry, does anyone know what kind of questions are on that one? Tbh I'm just going for the craic but I would like to well, probably won't though haha

    Anyone else going on here going? :)

    Congratulations. I went last year to the IRJSO which is like the Junior one but you do general science instead of just one subject. I'm going this year to the biology one 😊.

    The questions are quite difficult but multiple choice. You can't just learn off a textbook like you could for Junior Cert because there is none. It's more about understanding scientific concepts and thinking logically. Some questions are very specific though and you can prepare gor those by studying general knowledge or scientific facts or scientific journals.

    I would post a link to their website but I can't beacuse I'm a 'new user'. If you go on to the Castel website and click on the IREUSO page then go to FAQ's, they've a lot of handy information.
