Pay rise advice

I was wondering how to get my pay rise when I started my current job I was told after 6 months my pay would go up 50c it seems that people who were due it before me were not given it with the excuse "I don't think we can afford it now" it's 18€ extra a week I don't think that's reasonable excuse considering it's such a low…
