Im currently in fifth year and considering taking up an extra subject to maximise CAO points. Ive heard classics or applied maths are the most manageable 'extra subjects'. Is it possible to teach myself classics?, is the course long?. Theres a couple of schools in the dublin area doing classics as an extra but its too pricey. I got an A in the junior cert for history and im okay at english. Have you ever taught yourself a subject? Is it worth it? Thanks. :)
