Xaoami MI5S cracked screen

    Hi,

    So my mi5s, which is only about 7 months has cracks on the screen. Mainly around top right hand corner. It has a large case & I don't remember dropping it so don't know how it happened....

    I know from other mobiles that it normally costs at least €100 to get the screen replaced. To do it myself I need to but a new touch screen (link) and then try to do it perfectly.

    If I don't want to go down that route I presume applying a screen protector should help to prevent the screen somewhat- e.g. small bits of the screen falling out, cracks spreading etc.).

    Any other advice to prolong the life of it please?
