Refixing Insulated boards to Wall

I have insulated plasterboard dabbed onto cavity block extension, installed about 10 years ago.

I suspect the dabbing has failed and some boards are a little loose (move when pressed) and vertical cracks in plaster along the join of the boards every 4 feet.

I remember at the time, that there was no mechanical fix in the extension (rest of the house was mushroom clips direct to solid concrete).

There is an air gap between the board and the block wall, maintained by the dabbing.

I was looking to refix the boards in situ to the cavity block using a fixing like the Insofast fixing (http://insofast.co.uk/insofast-products/insulation-fixings/plasterboard-fixing.html), with maybe 6 fixings per board.

I think the gap would be maintained by the old dab in this case.

Can anyone see an issue with what I am planning? Is there any other approach or fixing would make more sense?

    Many thanks,
