I bought the Racing Post Guide to the Jumps 17/18.
Its a decent read with interviews with the leading trainers IRL and UK, but gets outdated fairly rapidly with injuries / change of plans etc.

If you're forming your own opinions these should do. If you want other opinions/tips then there are plenty of options.

I find at the races website as good as any. They have been doing stable tours with trainers and their horses on where they will be running and the plan for them.
Also a horses to watch... Dark horses etc

    That and Irish racings website.

Websites update.. Books don't once printed.

It goes without saying you should keep an eye on the websites and all the latest news. But the more information you arm yourself with the better your chances. Why limit yourself?

Theres more info on the websites I find these days straight from trainers journalists, point to point come through who bought what horse etc then can drop any horse into your tracker from them at the click of a button.
