Ok, it's time for a change with a possibility of a new arrival to the family. I need something spacious (3 kids) but I am unsure whether to go for an estate or a larger mpv. Ideally under 2l for tax purposes too, any ideas folks?

    What's the budget?

I know cheap but reliable is hard to find but if I could get something in bangernomics territory just to tide me over for a year/18 months I would be happy.

Honda FR-V 1.7 would be what I'd look for. That or a Corolla Verso 1.6

Moved out from Bangernomics so you get more attention OP

A Honda FR-V would be ideal for your needs, it served me perfectly for a few years with a small family.

Now up for sale on DD and CarZone if you're interested.

Hey, got that. I may be in contact with you in the next few weeks, I'll have to run it past the better half.
