Guitarist for the Dubliners from 1987 until very recently with the Dublin legends Eamonn has passed away after a short illness.

Eamonn (or 'Einstein' as we called him in our house as kids) was the more flamboyant of the Dubliners, instantly recognisable with his grey/white Afro.

He would be a tad more animated during sessions than his band mates jumping around with his guitar.

He was 70.
