Cost of doors and windows

    Finally getting the keys for my 1970s semi d next week :) one of the first refurb jobs I need to look at is replacing the aluminium windows and timber front door. Ball park would anyone be able to give me me an estimate of how much I should expect to pay for standard pvc windows and doors in the Clare/Limerick region? Cheers in advance.

    How many windows?
    5 or 6 minimum plus 1 door or front and back doors?
    Double or triple glazed windows?
    Colour of everything, white will be cheaper than other colours in pvc.
    Have you considered perhaps a palladio door instead of a standard one?

    There is so much to consider here and I'd advise you to get at least 3 quotes and then have another think before you place an order.

    As the Princess bride says above, it depends on scale and spec. The difference in cost between double and triple has closed alot, c.10%. I would recommend a Palladio door from insulation and security POV.
