Advise in what to do with sterling cash

Hi..

Im after a bit of advise.

I recently got around 3k in cash sterling.

Its not a great time for exchanging it to euro right now, but

I have about 2k debt on my visa card.

Would I be better holding out for a better exchange rate or use it cash to wipe out the credit card debt.

Im not great at these things.

exchange rate could get better, it could get worse, no way to be sure. What is certain though is that you'll be paying interest on debt if you don't pay off your card.
