Buying a used 2011 Passat CC

Hey Guys,
I am planning to purchase a 2011 Volkswagen Passat CC. This is my first time buying a car and would like to ask for some advice from more experienced guys here.
I just wanted to ask what your experience with this particular vehicle is/was. Obviously every car will have its problems and the usual problems with Diesel engines. Would the servicing be pretty much the same as a regular Passat?
Any info from people that own or owned this vehicle will be appreciated.

I had one identical to that a few years ago. Very comfortable car and visually it is very striking. One major problem with mine though was that the transmission developed a fracture at 65k km which caused oil to leak from it onto the flywheel and clutch plate which resulted in a new gearbox, clutch plate and flywheel. Luckily it was covered by VW UK, don't think it's a very common problem on them but something to be aware of all the same.

Underneath the coupe body, they are mechanically identical to the regular Passat so running costs will be very similar. Tyres are a bit more expensive but I regularly got 50mpg from mine. I also had mine remapped and it made a world of difference to the car. As per most modern diesel engines they can suffer from sticking EGR valves and clutch/flywheels generally tend to fail on them when they go north of 100k miles. As it's a UK car make sure to do a proper background check including a full history report. Air conditioning compressor is a bit weak point on VAG cars of that vintage so make sure that the air con is fully working.

Have 2 or 3 that comes in for work.Didn't see any trouble with them other than your typical wear and tear. I do think they are a smashing looking car and thought they drove very nicely. Have heard them give trouble with the problems stated in the above post
