I assume this is one of those memory foam mattresses?
Have had one in the past, hated it.

Too soft, too warm, personally, I much prefer a top end firm mattress.

Only my personal opinion, others may love them.

Its worth the money spending on a good mattress, yes. 100%

The definition of good is different to everyone.

    Firm, soft , middling.

Try them all, but be sure that its money well spent you spend 8 hours a day generally on it.

    Its never money wasted.

Money spent on a mattress is never wasted. Buy the best, most expensive mattress you can afford.

Definitely test a few mattresses before you buy; there's a huge range of firmness so make sure you know what you're buying.

A good mattress business will deliver for free and take away your old mattress.
