Move to New House - Broadband/TV

Hi all, hopefully someone can give me independent advice on here (that im not getting from any of the service providers!)
where I live currently I have an EIR Tv and Broadband package which is being cancelled (long story, but basically got an opportunity to break the contract due to price increase!) and in the process of switching back to Sky TV and Broadband (already have Sky tv account as didn't like Eir interface etc).
Anyhow I am moving to a new house in the country (middle of nowhere) and have to get a new phone line connection and I had started this initial process with Eir (as I believe they are the only ones who can make the physical connection? but maybe I am wrong on this?). If I go with this I have to sign up for a 12month contract with EIR for broadband which I am reluctant to do - can Sky organize a new connection or what other options do I have?
    Thanks
    PK
