    Hi
my wife works fulltime, has 20 days annual leave per year and is moving jobs.
Her last day will be on the 31st of October in her old role.

She took this year so far 14 days paid annual leave.

How many days does she have remaining with the current employer? 3? 4?

    Thanks

I've never known a company to round up so I would say 2.

Has it been agreed that she can take holidays in her notice period? Unless this has been agreed then she will work up to 31st and be paid her outstanding holiday leave on termination.

If she gets 20 days starting from 1st January and is leaving with two months to go, then her full entitlement on the day she leaves is 20 * 10 ÷ 12 = 16.67 days.

If she's taken 14 days, then she's entitled to be paid pro-rata for 2 ⅔ days when she leaves.
