    Hey guys, I'm after your opinions! :pac:

    Looking at upgrading my current gaming setup;
    Current Specs
    GPU's : 2X Radeon HD 5770
    CPU : I7 920
    Ram : 9GB
    PSU : 550W

    It's been fine up to this point, but it's struggling now. Looking online the GTX1050Ti seems to be the way to go, what are peoples thoughts? Looking to spend as little as possible, with €200 being the limit. Thanks guys.

    Spend a bit more & get a GTX 1060 3Gb.

    The 1050 Ti only makes sense if it's €125 or lower, as the mid-range 1060 destroys it in performance.

    The GTX1050Ti can be had for about €130 for the cheapest model which is reasonable value, the GTX1060 3GB is a lot better but it's almost about €220. Coming from dual HD5770's, even a 1050Ti is a big step up though if you've waited this long to upgrade, I would agree on the GTX1060 3GB at a minimum.

    You would probably get about €30 each for the old cards.

    The GTX 1060 3Gb is actually €200 (£180)

    Thank you guys, The 5770's are there since 2010, they've done me well :D

    Will the 550W PSU be enough for a 1050/1060? Is there any chance my MB won't have the right slot? It's an Intel X58 based MB.

    A single GTX 1060 will use ~100W less than dual 5770s.

    Your motherboard has the correct slot (PCI-Express 2.0).

    Absolutely fantastic platform the x58, if you have 80euro to spare in the future get a second hand x5650 6 core CPU off eBay to bring that thing bang up to date.
    Did it with my old x58, next to zero difference between my new x99 6800k @4ghz and my nearly 8 year old x58 with x5650@4.3ghz

    Ignoring idiots who comment "far right" because they don't even know what it means
