Never mind your hurricanes, earthquakes, terrorist attacks, spare a thought with the situation the poor people in New Zealand have found themselves in.

Time to send over our potatoe ships to help our cousins in need. I expect Michael D. Higgins to lead the effort.

He and a large cluster of hangers on are in Australia on a junket now. Maybe he could head over to New Zealand with a few bags of tayto? Make some use out of him?

Blane has to walk 5 miles every morning to a supermarket that stocks smoky bacon crisps, your €5 could help him buy the multipack so that he only has to go once a week

They're having a Crisp Famine? We must send many packets of Tayto Crisps at once.

Yes it will be seen as a noble gesture. Then we can have our airforce ( do we have that) airdrop more supplies over the hills and valleys in the weeks that follow.

That's phase 1, earning their trust, lulling them into a false sense of security.. phase 2, bam, we invade them, take over their rugby team, become the indisputable best in the field ... one ring to rule them all, my precious.
