    As above. All court sittings are cancelled tomorrow as per the Courts Service of Ireland.

    HURRICANE UPDATE:

    Further to our announcements on national and local media, Courts Arrangements for today are:

    People summonsed for jury duty for the first time or acting as a juror in an on-going trial should not report to courthouses today Monday October 16th - but should instead report tomorrow Tuesday.

    All Courts Cancelled today Monday October 16th.

    Due to the advised danger posed by the expected Hurricane conditions over the next 24 hours - all court sittings nationally are being postponed on Monday October 16th.
    This affects all Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High, Special, Circuit and District Courts sittings in the country

    If needed Custody hearings of the District Court will go ahead via local arrangements, and in the CCJ in Dublin.

    Courts are planned to sit as normal on Tuesday. Future dates for postponed cases will be advised via notice.

    Most Courts offices will remain closed today.
