    Hi,

just received an old silver pocket watch after a family bereavement. Its Hallmarked and stamped as J. Willman Dublin. Am really just looking to get a bit of detail around it if possible, age etc and a good place to get a quote to get it cleaned and repaired. I know pocket watch values are not great and most get melted down for the precious metal value, but Im looking to see if its worth getting fixed as I know I wont get the money back that I intend to put into it.

    Intresting..

Willman was prob the seller in Dublin

For the pics, It sterling silver (the Lion), Assay in Birmingham (the anchor)

The year ( letter) is K in a shield, add the three together it seems to imply year of 1833

the JM on the inside is the maker, If its Birmingham could be John Moore

    DT

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.
