I'm not looking forward to work

I'm not looking forward to work. I don't want to post too many details that will give me away here but I will explain as best I can.

First of all, there is this storm that is coming in and I'm in a red zone area. I don't know if I should continue on my day as usual tomorrow. So there is that worry.

Then something else happened too. I was ok in my job for a long time. I was happy even though there were some aspects that I wasn't happy with mainly around hours and pay. There were some long hours and the pay was very low with a weekly sum whether I did 20 or 40 or 45 hours. I looked on the bright side and picked out and focused on the positives.

Yesterday morning I received a call from my boss giving out to me and asking for an apology. I don't want to go into details of my work etc. I thought Friday was a good day. There were some stresses and a battle with an individual but I dealt with them as best I can. Someone else was looking on and viewed the situation as me being cross but that wasn't it at all.

I'm in limbo here. I don't know how to proceed from here on in. If I should call it a day and hand a notice.

If you're living in a red zone area, then travelling to work tomorrow is probably not a good idea. Can you not take the day off?

As for your job, if it's making you this unhappy then start looking around for another one. Don't shoot yourself in the foot by handing in your notice right now just because you're upset. Walking out of a job when you've nothing lined up is madness. It will hit you in the pocket and will make it harder for you to get another job.

Make a decision about work in the a:m. It could be dangerous or it might not be as bad as expected...wait and see.

What advice can be offered if no info is given? You wouldn't go to the doctor and tell them that you're sick but won't go into detail. We're not trying to suss out who you are but vague threads go nowhere.

    Don't hand in your notice.

You have to weather it out, stick up for yourself, and if and when it blows over, look for a new job.

I know how it feels, to be sick to your stomach, not to want to go to work, but it takes two to have an issue.

I know you want to delay the inevitable, but phone your boss if you are not going in, and ask that the issue be dealt with in a professional capacity.

You owe it to yourself, I know it's not what you want to hear,

Put your safety over a day of work. The work, no matter where it is, will always be there.

Also maybe consider job hunting. If you're unhappy or your boss is u reasonable life really is too short to be just putting in the time.
