Couldn't collect JSB last week

I was very ill last week and couldn't collect my JSB.
I was literally laid up in bed and had to have doctor visit via housecall.
I couldn't collect on Wednesday and went Saturday not realising that the PO closed early.
Can anyone advise what I should do?
    Thanks

Go to the post office on Tuesday. The payment may still be there and you may be able to collect 2 weeks. If it isn’t there you will need to go to the social welfare office and tell them why you couldn’t collect and they will reissue the payment

    Thank you.
No way I can go without so am very worried.
Will I need to get a doctors letter (hopefully not as will cost at least €30)
Is there a reason I shouldn't go tomorrow?

Go to the post office Monday if it’s not there you will need to go to the social welfare office and see can you get it reissued, it could take two weeks to reissue.

In my experience it hasn't changed since this thread was opened.

Made the trek to the post office bed storm hit. Delighted it was still there. Stress relief! Thanks for your help!
