    I'm looking to upgrade from an 8' x 4' 6" trailer to a new trailer .
The trailer is for cattle only, short journeys max, 10 miles .
    I would like one a bit bigger, Is 10 x 5 too big for a Caddy .??
    All replies/advice appreciated.

I have a caddy and a 14 foot box but it is way too big and heavy for the van so just use it on the tractor. Trying to pick up an 8 x 5 if get one at the right money. Think that is more than enough for a caddy. If you had a Passat or Golf would you put a 10' on it? Not much of a difference to the caddy

I wouldn't like to put cattle in it but I often brought sheep in the 12by5 behind the puegeot 407, the problem with cattle in a trailer is that if they move it fairly throws a car a bit. Even with the sheep I couldn't let them go to the back of the trailer if the car was pulling it, have to put in the dividing gate
