Tissot visodate winding plate

I have my visodate about a year now, but just recently I noticed it sounding differently, and I'm wondering about the winding plate on the back. It isn't rotating freely (from what I can remember it always rotated away to its heart's content), as now it's only rotating 180 degrees before it hits off some raised pin or possibly a screw.

Am I right in thinking the winding plate should rotate freely?

Yes. Sounds like a loose screw obstructing the rotor.

Pic attached (screw at the 12 o clock position). Yeah, looks that way. Might investigate opening her up to tighten it, or source someone to fix it if it looks complex

Does anyone know how creationwatches.com warranty works? I guess i'd need to post it back to them? I don't believe mine was shipped with a warranty card.

They are not known for their after-sales service. The best comparison would be to a budget airline; all good and cheap when things are going well but potentially prone to leaving you to sleep stranded on a draughty bench in Kakastan when they don't. Best to contact them in any case and please report back.

I might look into getting somewhere in Cork to fix it so. I don't see any easy to way to take the back off the watch (no grips or anything). Frustrating as it just seems like a screw has loosened over time. A screw which should never have loosened.

Its an ETA 2824 so any watchmaker should have absolutely no problem sorting it.
