question on payments

    joined the GLAS scheme last year but on thursday last i got a massage saying that 2017 payment can not be paid until your NMP has been submitted.
    i haved tried many times to contact our consultant but no use, he must be gone,
    anyone able to advise please or can i do this myself

    An approved GLAS advisor must carry out and complete your NMP. As far as I remember reading (somewhere) you cannot change advisor during the 5 years of the plan.
    If you click on the link (about half way down) it gives the list of approved GLAS advisors in the country - If your advisor is not on the list then you should contact the Dept.

    My glas advisers also seems to be gone . Rang a few times about training and numbers discounted

    Same thing happened to a neighbor of mine, Glas advisor went missin in action. If this is the case phone Johnstown Castle Wexford FIRST thing tomorrow mornin, Glas Section. If ye cant get through to them contact the Ministers Office in Ag House 016072000

    Because that's all they were paid to do

    Even they didn't realise there was gonna be training etc

    Mine was with frs. I guess they left lol go now the bulk of the work is done

    Was it frs or teagasc invoiced you? Frs only subbed in by them?
    You might be ok.

    I think some of them knew well what was involved and were happy to charge for simple plans whether you got accepted or not

    are consultants paid once a year for 5 years or is it just a once of payment.
    we got under 20 acres and paid him near 600 euros ( one payment) last year to do the Glas thing for us,

    you need to check with your planner but it should be a one off payment

    i know people that paid 650 and that didn't include the NMP

    planner told me he got nmp in at the start of oct

    Just a follow up on this how did ppl who found themselves with no planner get on after?

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
