It's only a bit of comic about driving rules abroad, which is meant to be funny/entertaining.

But this one got me pure laughing.

Aviva on top of saying that there are no speed limits on German autobahns - which is obviously true - and they add that surely those motorways must not be for faint hearted, they also mention that it's illegal to stop or slow down there. And they seem surprised by it, as it being an unusual rule.

Surely it must be complete nuts to prohibit stopping on motorway.

    :D

I noticed that too! Not all German Autobahns have unrestricted limits, some stretches have dynamic limits, some have permanent limits. It's illegal to stop on an Irish motorway too, unless in an emergency. Funny how an insurance company doesn't know this. Shocking stuff.

It's illegal to stop on motorway everywhere in Europe and possibly even everywhere in the world, yet they are surprised by it. Really made me laugh.

Presume you meant to say nuts to allow stopping on the motorway/hard shoulder

Its an extremely vulnerable and unsafe place to be pulled over and stopped on the motorway hard shoulder

Last time in Denmark I discovered a mermaid under my rental car.
