Foxsat + Smart Priority Switch

I have a Humax Foxsat HDR and would like to use one of the satellites feeds to switch to another box.
I was thinking of using a smart priority switch instead of a manual switch for the job as it's more convenient.
Heres the question, does anyone know if the Humax box powers the lnb when in standby mode? (and not recording), I've read that the Sky box does this so presumably it won't work with a priority switch?

    If it's the original Foxsat
Reasonably sure it doesn't as it DOES power up at 3am for a few minutes to check for updates to channels / firmware.

It does power up the HDMI about 15 minutes in advance when recording in standby

Best long term option is to move to a quad or octo LNB if the dish is accessible.

    Thanks very much for that.
