    Hi, I have a 2008 BMW 520d. It's telling me to top up the oil. Which oil should I use. Thanks.

    5w 30.

    It will be on the front of the bottle.Some are designed for specific makes of car and your engine spec is LL04 oil so if your in halfords or the likes you will see BMW specific oil for sale.Using the right spec will keep your turbo happy.

    +1 on that, 5w-30 to LL-04 spec.
