I am in Ireland for now 6 months, work in IT with good payment, is there any chance for me to get about personal 15,000€ loan? For period of 7-10 years? I am currently in PTSB but it doesn't matter from where I get loan. Thank you

It's unlikely you'll get a loan over 7-10yrs, more likely 5yrs. They may also want you to be permanent.

I wouldn't bother with Ulster bank - when I tried to get a loan before I got citizenship, they would only give a loan for the length of your stamp in your passport.

I am EU citizen and I have permanent job. I don't even pay for rent in Dublin :) so I have all my payment for me.

So for everyone, for future, they decline me 15,000E loan, but they said if I save like 200E every month on my account in next 6 months they will give me, instead they give me loan from 7,000E for max 5 years.

do you mind me asking what you need the money for?

Are you looking to buy a car, if so, did you tell them this (As they would have an asset backing the loan, they may be more likely to lend it to you)?
