Looks like Foo Fighters are heading back too Europe in the summer of 2018 and will play 3 gigs in the UK. Will there be an irish date and what would be the best venue

Seems to be strong rumours of an Irish date on June 16th. Wish they would just do a blanket release of the tour. They seem to be following the model they used last year of drip feeding gigs over a number of weeks.

Yeah it's a bit frustrating when bands drip dates. Hopefully an Irish date will be announced by the time the UK dates go on sale but I'm leaning more towards Manchester as the Etihad blows away any irish venue imo

The same day as The National, I hope not :( If I knew this I would have got National tickets for the 15th :(

At least they are doing 2 shows . If they do pick the 16th in the Aviva it will help with ticket sales due to being a weekend.

God it would be cool if they had Queens Of The Stoneage or/and Weezer as support

So id say they will be in Europe all of June before heading back in July for the 2nd leg of the American Tour unless they do Rock Werchter which is at the start of July and then back to America

They will hardly play download or IOW etc cause they announced the UK Dates already???

Going too Manchester but I hope they play an Irish show for all the fans here. There seems to be a thread now where lots of acts skip Ireland for Logistic reasons etc

I cant see them skipping Ireland since they have played here on pretty much every tour (i know they skipped us when they did arena shows and around the wembley gigs )

No reason why not tbf no Midlands dates and other shows sold out.

Download are announcing first acts after next week supposedly perhaps isn't a coincidence Metallica finish UK dates then either.

Probably means if we get a show it will be after the UK gigs

With TRNSMT Festival announcing a second weekend could we see the Foo Fighters announce a show there? They are in London 23rd and not playing in America till the 7th July.

Hopefully that could mean an Irish date that same weekend

    Glasgow Green.
    Fri 29 June + Sat 30 June + Sun 01 July
    Fri 06 July + Sun 08 July

I'm less confident of an Irish date now, it surely would have been announced by now to get the tickets out in time for people to buy them for presents.

There seems to be slightly less European dates on this tour

Its a worrying trend that we are getting ignored by all the major touring rock acts these days (Pearl Jam, Foos, Metallica, A perfect circle etc..)
