Seen the Ford offers the other night and they seem quite good. Just when I relooked over the offer this evening and read the small print: it seems it only applies to Kuga and Focus cars built before 2015! Ford must have a huge aged stock problem

The trade in car must be older than 2015.

With that Pcp plan no wounder?

Offer only applies to Focus Titanium and Kuga ST Line. What a load of rubbish, this is not to be confused with any environmental initiative. This is just a way of capitalising on the murmurs of manufacturers being forced to take certain models off the road and selling top spec ageing models, which they already did earlier in the year
They're also offering it on the transit custom, which is being facelifted next spring.

Where does it say that they're old models?

Where does it say that they're old models?

The Focus is out in its current form since 2011 for example.

Either I am completely thick or this thread is a nonsense. Only the car being traded in must be old, which makes perfect sense. Please tell me I'm crazy.

2015 is hardly old, plus it's not like they're scrapping the trade-ins.

As is usually the case, you'd probably get close to the reduction if you just walked in off the street with 28k in your back pocket (as if you would!).

You wouldn’t usually get €5500 off a focus sized car anywhere to be fair.

You can bet your trade in would suddenly be worth less than outside the offer. Its like the deposit contribution and those other stunts, cost to change is nearly always same unless distributor is giving a decent percentage off the car due to facelift etc.
