Glue Left On Car

    Hi guys,

Took the N plates off my mam's car and it left all the glue behind. Tried some soap and let it soak but didn't make any difference.

What's the best way to get glue residue off? The one on the back is tearing, so I'll use heat to get that plate off hopefully trouble free, what can I use to get the remaining glue off?

Can't even peel or scrape it with my fingernail it's not going anywhere!

WD40 works great too, better than anything else I've ever used for removing sticker glue.

I have used TarX with success to remove glue from paintwork.

Hair dryer + flat razor blade.

WD40 and a lot of elbow grease done the job, will get heat on the rear one when I get a chance.
