    Howye,

My head is fried,my mother died 5 years ago leaving no will and no executor,i was young at the time so only started dealing with it 12-18 months ago, should be fairly straight forward,1 family home under the 300k tax thing,i am the only child,no husband. My solicitor sent off the forms for probate/letters of administration 4 months ago now and no word since?starting to think hes a bit of a cowboy anyway because ive called 5 times in the last 2 weeks for some sort of update and still waiting for a call back ðŸ˜
Anyway im aware this is an average time to be waiting but just wondering has anyone been through the process lately and how long were you waiting and also, what comes next, how long before the house is in my name and how long before funds from her accounts are transferred to me (not a large amount under 10k but we are hoping to sell the house so need that money to fix it up to sell).
