night shift work

Hi all I work in a hospital, I work 12hr night shift, could anyone tell me how long our breaks should be, Im asking cause on day shift they get 2 x 15 min breaks and a half hour break, but on night shift we are only entitled to a 30 mins break.. how can this be?.
