What galls me about this is that this prick did not pay the money back over the last two years yet rocks up to court and can pony up €700.

    What a scumbag.
The court heard that the defendant made no effort over the two years to pay the money back to the injured party.
His solicitor, Cormac Hartnett, had handed €700 to the court and said the balance would be paid at Monday's court sitting.

Only silver lining is that the two lads business is still doing well.

    What a bad b#stard.

Some people would kill their own mother for a fiver. I don't claim to be Jesus Christ levitating above everyone else, but ffs lads, this is disgraceful.

This is in the same bracket as those scumbags who robbed the disabled guy collecting for charity. That's a story that stuck with me.

If only they had been born 20 years earlier, they could have nabbed the business name "Pen Island".

along with it's associated "dot com" domain name - www . penisland . com

If they didn't want him stealing from the pen firm, they should have bought him into the pen fold.

Anyway the real crooks here are the insurance firms, amirite?

I'm mostly just impressed with the two lads for getting a company up and running at that age, fair play lads.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

You just said that to get a reaction because no one could really be that utterly stupid to think these two lads and their uncle hatched a plan where he would get arrested and end up with a court conviction to get their booming business more publicity...or am I the only one thinking that??
