Quick query, as I am trying to figure out boundary issue. Is the boundary from the centre of the road 4 metres from the fence parallel to the road or the piers which are inset two metres inside it, 6 metres therefore from the centre?

Sorry it is to see if it is the area I have to tarmac. Four metres to the side of the roads ' tarmac by the looks of things if you open picture. The fence has to be moved back.

As per the drawing it looks like you have committed to moving the front wall of the site 4m back from where it is currently located at the edge of the road.

*mind you - it could be a typo because the relative sizes shown would make the road about 16-20m wide!

My thoughts are that the fencing has to be moved back four metres from the old fence. It does make the road a decent size but as the land was a bit cheaper, I'd imagine that's why it has to be finished well to leave the road usable. It's a wooden fence at the moment so not to difficult.
Someone had said it was 4 metres from the centre of the road but the drawings seem to suggest move the fence back 4 metres from current place.
    Many thanks
