I'm looking to follow some food blogs- in particular ones that detail recipes and not just pictures of restaurant food, if that makes sense.
    Any good ones?

2 that I particularly like are the Kenmare Foodie and Rory Kelly. My absolute favourite, though albeit a website is Nigel Slater. I adore his writing.

I like budget bytes, she's american but does provide detailed photos and instructions. I'm also really liking 'A cookbook a month' It's a couple of friends who cook from one cookbook each month. They don't provide recipes but its still very interesting getting their different perspectives.

They're the ones i read the most. I used to follow lots of irish food blogs but most of them only post sporadically now if at all. Sheila at gimmetherecipe is one of the more consistent for posting.

In terms of wine, I like Frankly Wine, A Glass of Red Wine, Phil my Glass and The Motley Cru.

For beer, Irish Beer Snob and his wife Mrs Beer Snob.

I'm only scratching the surface here with Irish bloggers.

Bia Mhaith on facebook. I love his receipes - a lot of them suit me as they are really nice but not too faffy and I can make nice meals simply.
