I'd like to express my gratitude to all the hardworking staff and volunteers of the RPSI and Iarnrod Eireann who worked hard to create what can only be regarded as a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable day out.
It was great after many years of talking on various forums to put genuine flesh on faces who I only previously knew as names on the internet.
Thank you all. And - I hope to meet you all in Dublin again soon!

Didn’t seem to break a sweat really. Sailed up the bank at Killarney too, not a bother. Then again there was about 4,500hp up front!

Yeah fair point. This might have been answered but why have CIE/IR never allowed 071s work together before this special ? From the videos I've seen there was no problems.

Weight concerns and also no need for that much power.
