They recently told me it would be good if i went out and tried to find a job, now one thing alarmed me she said McDonald's can take in store applications but i thought they were only allowing online applications? she also suggested factories/ other businesses, you think its dumb of me to think if there's no advert posted outside the factory i shouldn't try for job inside the factory? I don't have any experience at all, i'm not looking for a fortune just something to help me live a little better than I am currently.

Sign up with an employment agency. Not ideal but a good place to start.

    +1

Attitude is pretty difficult to ascertain during an interview, as most people will say what they think the interviewer wants to hear - but a simple action such as bothering to hand in a cv even if no job is advertised can indicate a good attitude.

This is how I started out years ago. Handed my CV out to several companies in one day. I had a job a couple of days later which I stayed in for a couple of years.
