    Hi all,

I'm looking for driver side mat only as it's the only one that is worn in my car. I replaced the original ones a while back with ones from Micks Garage which I did not find very good quality wise.

It is possible to buy just the one mat?

eBay or adverts.ie - you could also try a main dealer of course but you'd probably have to buy both front mats and at a premium.

Get a quote from a local dealer to start with. It will give you a guide price when looking elsewhere.

What kind of a car is it?

I've got them from Lidl/Aldi in the past and they've always worn well. I'd be hesitant to just get the one as they'll never match.

Very hard to get a single mat. You might get places that will do just fronts or rears but 99% of offerings will be a set of 4.

Thanks all. I think the genuine mat is the only job. I'll visit the local dealer and see how they fair out on price.

Argos stock very good quality rubber mats. You will have to buy a full set, of course. I doubt you will find any place that will sell just one.

If all of your other mats are genuine mats, replacing the drivers mat with anything else other than a matching original mat would look stupid.

VW sell mats as separate sets front/back.

Just pick up an original set of front mats and keep the passenger mat as a spare in case a passenger ever steps in sh*t :)

If they drag the sh*t into your car, you can roll up the spare mat and beat them with it :pac:
