Hopefully someone here can help a bit.

We use postfix as our MTA.

I've configured spf, dkim and dmarc. We only have the one email server.

However, some reports show that our email is not reporting as coming from domain.com but rather from smtp.domain.com hence dmarc is failing from time to time.

I'm assuming that this is an issue with the postfix configuration?

Our DNS points our MX record to smtp.domain.com and the domain.com A record points to a different server, where our web service is.

    Any thoughts?
