I am retired & have been signing for CREDITS for the past year. I didn't do a means test. I am coming up 65 soon & wondering will I get a payment from Social Welfare from when I reach 65 until I am pension age at 66. I am not getting any money from SW at the moment.

There used to be something called State Pension Transition - which my mam got when she turned 65 until she hit 66 but they did away with that a couple budgets ago. As far as I know now, 65 year olds just stay on Jobseekers or whichever payment they are currently on, but are exempt from signing on I think. So you may just have to sign for credits for another year.
