    Hi guys,

I am planning to buy a Xiaomi smartphone from gearbest and their warehouse is in Hong Kong, that is, not EU, I would like to know if import duties will apply? The phone costs $140.

Anyone already bought there? Any problems?

    Thank you!!

    Ok jonnycivic, thanks.

Any idea how much will they charge (if they do)?
The free shipment would be a good option?

    $140 + 0 = €119.34 total value
    VAT: €27.44
    Handling fee: €10

So you'll pay €37.44 or thereabouts. If you pay for a courier you must pay VAT on that fee too, and handling fees can be €15 instead of 10.
