Ok so currently living in Cork city. The house we are in is ridiculously to small for our family in regards to bedroom space but has good size living room and kitchen. Kids are happy in there school and preschool so would like to keep them in them have no issue with driving inn each morning. Not from Cork so don't know the areas at all.

Husband working in city centre he does not have car at this time so would be bus most days in and out unless I was picking him up.

So where would be a reasonable area would be reasonable to look for a 3+ bed that would not make things to difficult to get in and out of cork city and that would be good for kids to live?

As you are schooling and working in the city, why not look for a bigger house in the city?
Strangely, suburbs are probably more expensive than the city centre for residential property.

sorry, have to totally disagree with this. Bus service is shocking, totally inadequate for the growing population.
