08-10-2017 9:59pm#1Saw this video just now (currently trending on youtube) and had to share it. After a quick search, I didn't find any threads similar to this kind of 'genre' so figured I'd create one [do move/merge/etc if one already exists, my apologies].
Anyways here it is! The employee deserves a medal

The arm bar one above seems like good fun too but without the context I have a feeling there more to it than meets the eye, I find it hard to believe someone that confident and trained as a fighter is just being bullied randomly. But that video above? It's clear as day that poor young lad was being systematically bullied and everyone including the person filming was in on it ("this is just getting sad"). I know it's not a pleasant aspect of my nature, but seeing the bully stumbling around, confused and looking for help as the consequences of his own callous, mob backed, arrogant inhumanity Dawn on him, and getting nothing in return from the heartless mob he thought were his friends, is one of the most viscerally satisfying videos I've ever seen.
But it doesn't make you feel good in any long term way. Just reminds you of some of the worst instincts in ourselves and our willingness to indulge them. The bully, the people around, the person filming, and ourselves as viewers, all tell us different ugly things about ourselves as a species and a society.
But I will watch it again right now.0 -
