Apologies if this question has been covered, I've asked a similar one about Virgin media (see here).

I'm trying to run wires through my house while it is a bit of a building site and I have access to floorboards and behind plasterboard (kinda). I will be looking to have a Sky dish on my roof at some point (not just yet) and want to run cables for this in advance, so they are as hidden as possible.

With this in mind, can somebody who knows what they are talking about link to the correct cable I should buy? How many runs should I do to where the tv points will go, two? (trying to futureproof here)

Satellite grade cable, CT100 type would be recommended

SkyQ requires 2 from dish to box.
Do you plan to install or future-proof for Saorview, if so, additional cable required.

I would also run 2 cables to each other TV point for future proofing from a central point in the house.

I'd throw in some cat6 network cables while you're at it. Cable is cheap, rewiring isn't.

Thanks again- was thinking about the extra TV cables- not sure about Saorview- I suppose I'll see how easy I find running the cables.

Bought the CAT6 already, thought exactly the same myself! Thanks
