    Hi lads

Just looking for a hand here. I'd like to be able to bleed my own boiler. From looking at the manual/videos online did the previous owner of my house fix a bleed valve to it ? The gold coloured valve in the pic? I'm wondering where to source the bleeding implement or an alternative ? It's a riello 70

The brass extension is standard on riello rdb burners. The gold coloured valve is not a valve but a brass extension from the oil pump for the pressure gauge. Using a 4 mm allen key,you can open the grub screw at the end of the brass extension to bleed the oil.
There is a leak at the burner mounting flange.the flexible oil hoses need replacing. it looks like its in dire need of a service.

Thanks for the info appreciated !

Yeah well overdue a service. Knew this last year (we've been in the house 2 years) but had some unforeseen expenses this year. My contact to service it is telling me he cant come out until the middle of next week so just trying tide it over for a the next week or so.
