i have student version of office 2016 provided by my collage, it doesn't have Microsoft project which I need for project management.

I got a cracked version of just project, but it wont install because of the student office version I have, problem with the installer I think.

is there any way around this, can both work on the same laptop

Have you put your case to the college that you need the extra MS project module for your course?

I would expect they can accommodate your with a suitable version.

I have and was told its on computers within the collage, use those. I haven't spare time to spend in collage with 3 kids so it would be handy to have it at home. I'm surprised its not part of the package already.

Microsoft Project is not included with any of the Office Suites, it is a separate software package, even though it joins with the other office products.

A cracked version (cannot actually be discussed on boards, Rules etc.), but a cracked version won't run alongside a legitimate installed package. Microsoft have too many safeguards in place to prevent this.

Can you not build up a project plan in Excel?
