Hi my saorview reception on my triax 114 has been terrible recently. I've tried other combo boxes and they have been the same. Then when I use my old saorview-only box the reception has been perfect again. Does any know why this is only effecting the Irish channels on the combo boxes? Thanks

What type of issues are you getting, are they cabling/ aerial or software, just a word of warning, I had a 114 some time ago, when I tried to address some issues with a software update I crashed the box.

The picture glitches on and off, the signal strength shows 99% then it drops for a second and goes back again. I've tried a different combo model also and it's the same.
A saorview only box is working with no problems currently but obviously the combo box is handier to use.

Are you using a Sat/Terrestrial diplexer (so using just one cable incoming for both then split to Sat and Terrestrial outputs ) ??

If yes, if you leave the Satellite input disconnected on the Combo box does it make a difference to the terrestrial reception issue?

I have separate cables for Sat and Terrestrial, no diplexer. I tried leaving the satellite input disconnected from the Combo box anyway just to rule it out but no luck

Are the boxes definitely tuned for the same transmitter? It could be that the troublesome boxes are somehow tuned to a weaker transmitter that might be present (check UHF channels/frequencies in tuning menu are the same)

I'll have to wait until weekend to check. It was fine until two weeks ago but you never know thanks
