Some of the Rick and Morty fan base take these things very seriously.

Speaking of Douglas Adams was listening to an article on the radio during the week, about a monastery in China, with an electric monk.... A university department of robotics came up with it....

In fairness there was that queue awhile back for In-N-Out burger. Didn't seem as hectic.

Didn't lose buddies in the battle of Nam Pla so these kids could line up for Szechuan sauce.

    Nine more seasons, Morty.

And as for your question: no, it could happen in any country on the planet. Maybe not with the exact same circumstances. I'm tired of this "Only in X" ****e. Grand if it lets you distance yourself from things but you should know that it's a load of horse****.

The queuing up from 8 am until 2 pm just to get a new burger with sauce i would imagine so. People with obvious mental health issues seem to be quite common in American society. #nutjobs

    This is sadly true :(

People queue for hours here for all sorts of things - concert tickets, computer games, why wouldn't they eventually get to a point where they're queuing for the latest merchandise from whatever franchise, and protesting when they don't get it makes them look cool to their peers on social media.

If only there was some important stuff going on in the world that they could throw their indignation and outrage behind. It's sad that those poor people have nothing real to protest about.

    :(

Some fans of anything are "intense". It doesn't really matter what it is, people that are hardcore fans of anything are scary. as. f*ck. Don't even get me started on the people that like My Little Pony.

Eh no, there is a subset of ‘Rick and Morty’ fans that are far more insane than for any recent popular show I can think of. Many of these hardcore fans are complete arseholes, to be frank. My OH likes ‘Rick and Morty’ and he thinks so too.

There's hardcore fans of Big Bang Theory for whom Sheldon is a demi-god to them! Honestly they're impossible to be around :pac:

Nothing like Rick and Morty hardcore fans, who are quite nasty and condescending.
